The logo and branding felt good from the beginning. Our aim was to ensure all their branding looked extremely professional, because ultimately how can you sell the service of making someone’s podcast look and sound professional if your own materials are not up to the same standard.

We started with basics, such as business cards, documentation, email signatures and promotional leaflets that could be handed out to prospective podcasters. We then very much focused on the digital side. We built a website, designed their social media content, before starting on creating audio promos for the podcasts they had already acquired. We then helped then with the recording, editing, production and promotion of their shows.

THE CHALLENGE

Having just bought out a long established dental practice, the new owners wanted to put their stamp on things with a fresh look that reflected their personality, and portrayed a more modern approach to providing dental care.

In their local area i.e. within just a few streets, there are a large number of other dental practices, so the brief was to help them to stand out from their competition with top quality marketing materials, branding etc.

With the physical practice needing so much investment, it was decided that we would begin by focusing on that and the existing patients. Once the practice had been completed and their existing database brought up to speed on the new look and feel, we would extend our focus to social media and the wider world.

THE SOLUTION

THE CHALLENGE

The show had an existing brand style, which was very lighthearted, and created for the launch of the show. THE SOLUTION

This was incorporated into the show artwork, which we kept clean, simple and modern. We created professional looking social media graphics to promote each episode and logo animations to use for the video versions of the show. Finally, we built a basic website where listeners could check out past episodes, as well as learn all about the show hosts. It was also created to be used in future marketing strategies to grow their listenership. All of this work meant that wherever people consumed the show, it would look and feel professional.

We created the marketing materials in line with this style for their road shows and revamped their music and voice drops to make the show feel of the highest quality.

My Deposit Hero came to us as a brand new start up, with no branding or marketing materials and a fixed budget.

As a start-up business, they needed a logo, brand guidelines creating, and all of their basic marketing materials designing in an eye-catching way so as to grab people’s attention, whilst also resonating with their target market.

THE SOLUTION

The nature of their service requires a lot of information and explanation about people’s rights and the laws governing that area being communicated. With the name having already been chosen by the client, it was obvious that we would need to go for a superhero brand style.

The bright colours and comic book type branding we came up with would work in attracting attention as per the client’s brief, and the character allowed for a personalised way of communicating the large amount of information and guidance they provide.

We then carried this styling through their website, marketing literature and social media graphics.

Wirral Society of the Blind and Partially Sighted have been providing help, support and advice to everyone with a visual impairment in Wirral since 1989.

They are a charity who’s services aim to enable their service users to continue to lead an independent and fulfilled life through the practical, social and emotional support to meet each person’s specific needs.

THE CHALLENGE

The main challenges facing any charity are raising funding, competing against other charities for that funding, and making themselves known in the area.

In order to overcome these challenges a charity needs to have a clear message of what they do, who they help, and how they do it. That message needs to be clear, suitable for the target audience and professional in delivery. With competition for fundraising being so fierce, and support for charities generally being quite personal, failure to achieve these targets can mean missing out of valuable support.

We were asked to provide a wide range of marketing support for WSBPS, whilst having to also overcome their challenge of having a very small budget and largely voluntary team.

THE SOLUTION

We appointed WSBPS as our chosen charity for a period of three years, during which time we provided a range of marketing services for a discounted price or at no charge.

Our main aim was to create a brand structure to make the charity more easily recognisable and professional in appearance. This included providing a style which followed through all marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, pull-up banners, social media graphics etc. During our time providing support, it was their 30th anniversary. We were asked to create a logo that would celebrate this event and so we provided a variation of their normal logo, which could be used for 12 months to promote their amazing achievement.

In addition to a wide range of graphic design support, we also provided photography and videography at their main annual event, in addition to helping to promoting the event and selling sponsorship. The events we support broke the charities previous records for revenue generated from a fundraising event, We also redesigned the whole interior of their centre, Ashville Lodge, to make it a more modern, brand consistent, inviting and suitable for the service users and devised a corporate partnership scheme that would enable them to better engage with the local business community to raise awareness, build relationships, and generate financial or expert support through a mutually beneficial arrangement.

My Mentor NW came to us as a brand new start up, with no branding or marketing materials and a fixed budget.

As a start-up business, they needed a logo, brand guidelines creating, and all of their basic stationary materials designing. Due to the nature of their industry and services, it was important that any branding portrayed a bright, positive message to resonate with their target market.

THE SOLUTION

With My Mentor NW’s target audience being children, we felt their branding needed to be bright and powerful. We wanted the colours and shapes to feel friendly and engaging, but whilst ensuring the appearance remained professional, given the serious nature of their work.

The fonts we selected were rounded for a softer appearance, just as the geometric shapes incorporated within the logo and brand imagery used within the email signatures and social media profiles.

THE SOLUTION

After discussing what message they wanted to portray with their branding, our approach was to utilise the yellow from their logo to portray as feeling of positivity and optimism . My Marketing Guy enable their clients to promote their business on social media through training and support. We wanted their materials to feel inspiring and empowering. The blue added a good contrast to the yellow and symbolises power and control. With the addition of positive imagery we were able to reemphasise the message of the colours.

Chris is also one of the hosts of the Go Fish podcast, which provides business tips and advice. We produced a promotional advert for My Marketing Guy to be played within each episode.

THE SOLUTION

Justice for Tenants did not want, nor need any frills. They are a non-profit organisation, their name says exactly what they do, and they wanted their logo and marketing materials to follow suit.

We did an number of logo designs, and the one they chose included a house icon which incorporated the JFT initials of their name. The iconography very much reflects the clear message of ‘what they do’.

In terms of brand design for their documentation, we simply used the the shape of the roof from the logo as the geometric shape to provide a bit of style and colour. The font is deliberately clear and easy to read, to all the documents to feel less cluttered and digestible in a way that caters for the variety of people who will use their services.

THE SOLUTION

We started by looking at the colour scheme, to utilise palettes that would be more in keeping with Inner Solutions sector and services. The purple and green colours chosen are psychologically associated with calmness, responsibility, new beginnings and creativity.

We then focus on an icon and font style that would mirror these attributes. The rounded corners of the logo and spacing of the letters of the font compliment these elements.

The design of marketing materials, workbooks and other company assets pulled together all of the above, with imagery to reflect the positive nature of the training courses they provide.

We continue to assist with the development of the company’s branding under our retainer services. A marketing strategy and work plan are being implemented to allow this ongoing work within the budget of the business.
